My Letter Portrait

My letter portrait by Toodles

My Letter Portrait by Toodles is a creative twist on the classic self-portrait — instead of starting from a blank page, kids start with a single letter already printed on the sheet: the first letter of their name. From there, it's up to them to turn that letter into a portrait of themselves.

How to play:

  1. Find the page with the first letter of your name (A through Z, there's one for everyone).

  2. Draw around the letter, using its shape as the starting point for your body, hair, or outfit.

  3. Add your face, hair, and all your favourite details to bring your letter portrait to life.

It's a lovely activity for building confidence with drawing, since the letter shape gives every child a starting point and a bit of structure to build on — while still leaving plenty of room for imagination. Great for classrooms, birthday activity tables, or just a creative afternoon at home.

Once finished, take a photo of your finished drawing and scan the QR code printed on the sheet, it'll take you straight to a Toodles t-shirt product page, where your illustration can be turned into a real, wearable design. Don't forget to tag @toodles_tees on Instagram to share what you've made.
